"All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a Thousand enemies.
And when they catch you, they will kill you.
But first they must catch you; digger, listener, runner, Prince with the swift warning.
Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed."

Hahah come on everyone must know what that's from :XD: anyway! I used to love the beginning of the film...especially the "Bless my bottom" part :XD:

I hate that damned fox in the middle *scratches it out with nails*

You should all check out the hirn carving that ~der-Alchemist made of El-ahrairah!

Thanks to everyone who faved (or faves) this! I can't thank you all individually but take this as a private "Thank you"

Watership Down and El-ahrairah are (C) to Richard Adams

It's quite good, it has a lot of folklore stories and sort of builds up the rabbit culture a little more than the film

Ah, I see. In a way, Watership is like Warriors. Have you read any of that? Or Seekers?

Well Watership Down was published many years before Warriors so I guess it's the grandfather of animal society books. I haven't read any no, but I checked it out on wikipedia a while ago and sort of found the amount of characters to be off-putting, but I mean the books must be good if so many people like them. I've read "Firebringer" though, which is about deer

Absolutely stunning work! I'm usually a nut for detail, and although this illustration is certainly not sparse of details, I actually like the fact you use a relatively thick fineliner (compared to my illustrations, anyway) for the line work. Fantastic composition and beautiful use of colors.

Thanks! I'm usually the opposite but I have no idea why on the day I decided to add so much! I actually added the thicker fineliner because everything was merging together and going flat (so it was an easy way to add depth lol)
Thanks so much for the in depth comment! I appreciate it!

oooh i didn't know there was a book, a little bit like "warrior cats" with bunnies! it is cute! but not that..how to say...i don't know rabbits are very intelligent(i have one : B) but they aren't really 'powerful' :/

sure there is, but it is nothing when this is not important things xD

wich audio should i listen to, to ear this sentence?:)

Yep it's similar but a lot older than Warrior Cats (I never read those books to be honest!) Oh no rabbits have very complex social lives and can be really vicious, I've had a few, the one I have now is very smart, and can be very frightening when he lunges and attacks, they can be very brutal to one another.

I have no idea, I just found the site and thought it'd be interesting :XD:

I had it sat on my bookshelf for a while, until I got fed up of looking at it crumpled up on there lol. I always loved those lines, I think they're pretty powerful on their own apart from the book.
Thanks! I'm still in the process of perfecting my rabbits, they tend to look more like hares sometimes but they're much better than they used to be!

This is really lovely! very inspiring, could I ask, did you line it first and then paint on top or the other way around? :)

Thanks! You may ask lol. I outlined it all with a thin nib pen (about 0.2) it has to be waterproof (sometimes it says it is but it's not! I usually test it with the good old, "spit on finger" test first!) after painting the whole thing I outlined again with different size nibs, thicker for closer objects or parts I want to appear in front of something, thinner for further away! I hope that's helpful!

ooh this is really helpful of you thanks! hah yeah I'm too worried to not test it before I do something as delicate as watercolours. That was great advice thank you. *runs to buy more pens*

Lol your welcome! In the stationers, take a small notepad with you and try out the spit technique lol, just draw a line then wet your finger and drag it along the line, if it goes fuzzy then it's not as waterproof as it claims! The brand I have is "Yoken", Japanese I think, the best ones I've found so far! Good luck!
